Contribution to the objectives for the Malacky district, years 2021 - 2027 - PHRSR BSK
The implementation of the project can serve as a motivating factor for the region's transition to organic and sustainable agriculture, which is fully in line with the objectives of the new EU Common Agricultural Policy. This will bring an increase in the cultivation of various-species crops that are characteristic for Zahorie region. Moreover, it shall lead to an increase in small farms. Our project will directly create an opportunity for breeding and grazing cattle. It is an opportunity to make the region more attractive to young farmers and to increase employment in the sector.
We aspire to motivate stakeholder towards more wetlands restoration projects. The construction of an educational trail, information and educational events will aim at visitors, local residents, landowners and local governments not only to protect wetlands and their biodiversity, but also to encourage them to slow tourism or even eco-tourism. The project will contribute to the objectives of Priority 4 „Sustainable Tourism and Diverse Culture“ PHRSR BSK for the district of Malacky.
Synergies with other projects in the region
Our project creates synergies with other projects in the region — we will build on the existing nature trail implemented within the RAMSAR Eco NaTour project, which was co- financed by the ERDF under the Cross-border Cooperation Programme SLOVAK REPUBLIC – AUSTRIA 2007–2013
