Project leader: Green Foundation
We are a team of experienced entrepreneurs, specialists, mentors and project managers. Since 2015 we have been supporting the transition of our country towards a sustainable and more responsible Central Europe under the leadership of the founder and philanthropist Boris Zeleny. Our aim is the society that will be able and willing to actively address the challenges and challenges of climate change and new technologies.
We work mainly with the young generation, offering effective solutions. We are behind many environmental projects based on the Roots & Shoots program by the British environmentalist Jane Goodall, which are successfully implemented by schools throughout Slovakia. Our foundation house Budka 22 is a model house that follows the principles of sustainability and circular economy. It covers a community of organizations active in the field of environmental and social innovation.
Other successful projects are the Academy of Social Economy, which we implemented in cooperation with Slovenska sporitelfa and its foundation. We are a member of the Blumental Party, as well.
BROZ - Bratislavske Regionalne Ochranarske Zdruzenie / Bratislava Regional Conservation Association
BROZ has been implementing practical conservation measures in Natura 2000 sites for more than 20 years. Since its establishment in 1997, we have become a leading non-governmental organization in the field of protection and restoration of rare habitats. We are a team of professional environmentalists, solving the challenges and problems, especially in the Danube region. We are restoring wetlands and river branches, floodplain forests, meadows and pastures. We also strive to support traditional, nature-friendly forms of farming, such as cattle grazing, cane mowing and willow trimming. Our heart is the island of Velky Lél. We have dozens of local and international projects aimed at environmental protection, which have been and are implemented from public funds, grants or funds.
